I had mentioned a few weeks ago that we were getting close to the point where anonymous commenting would be disabled. A recent, thoughtful exchange between John D’Alois, Bruce Negrin and Warren Gross convinced me that we are at the point where we can move past the “wide open commenting” stage and require that visitors must register in order to comment.
I will probably add an extra feature which will allow people to comment if they are registered with other comment registration services so it will not be necessary to register with our registration software for folks who do not want to do that but are willing to register somewhere else (like GoogleID, FacebookConncet, OpenID, etc.)
