I did not think I would be again reporting that the Journal News appears to be playing games with how they describe the appearance of police suspects are I wrote: Journal News ID’s suspect in recent burglary as “Blonde, Caucasian”, Fails to ID Sutton Manor Assailants as “Black”.
Today the Journal News reported on an incident near Drake Avenue:
The suspect is only as described as a white man in his 30s wearing a dark blue sweatshirt and dark blue sweatpants.
If they keep doing this it will become apparent that this is a deliberate act.
The people of New Rochelle need full, accurate descriptions of criminal suspects so they can help police catch them. If witnesses describe the victim as black or white or green just say so and quite placing political correctness above public safety.
