The “Youth Court” Program administered by the New Rochelle Youth Bureau is entering its 26th year of operation. It has trained over two hundred fifty (250) students in all aspects of the Criminal Justice System and Court Procedures, enabling them to serve as Judges, Prosecutors, and Defense Attorneys handling cases which are diverted from the Westchester County Family Court.
Presently, we are accepting applications for our Youth Court Program. Interested youth residents in grades 7th through 10th can obtain an application by contacting Ms. Betsy Baum at (914) 654-2045, 8:30 A.M. – 4:30 P.M., Monday through Friday. Messages may be left in the voice mailbox after 4:30 P.M.
All completed applications and required materials must be returned to the Youth Bureau office on or before Monday, January 25, 2010.
