If you’ve driven around the circle behind New Rochelle High School during the spring & summer, you’ll have no doubt noticed the abundance of beautiful flowers. Nearby resident Greg Pryce volunteers hour after hour tending to the every need of the island (intersection between Clove & Flandreau) and the long city-owned piece of property that runs alongside Flandreau Ave.

Located behind New Rochelle High School, these areas have a high volume of traffic, and the amazing plantlife and foilage are pleasing to the eye of all who pass by. The photographs below are just a sample of what is to come as the temperatures rise. Be sure to keep an eye out for the continued rainbows of color bursting forth from the ground, and if you see the farmer out there tending to his gardens, beep the horn to him as a thank you!
