Proposed Development to be Discussed at Sound End Civic League April 12
The South End Civic League will meet on Monday April 12 at the YMCA on Weyman Avenue at 7:30 p.m.  Speakers will be Rocco on any community problems, and Councilman Lou Trangucci who will update the members on the City Council agenda. 
 
A discussion will be held on proposed new developments in the area and how they will impact the community.
 
The meeting is open to the public.

    I came across this article last week about which retailers are planning to expand in the US this year and how many stores.

    Kohls is listed at 50
    Lowes is listed at 45
    Target is listed at 128

    Someone from the NR IDA should consider attending the ICSC Las Vegas convention this year. It is May 23rd-25th and would serve as a total immersion into the retailing industry. They could stop by the Kohls and Target booths and try to glean some insight for New Rochelle’s prospects.
