New Rochelle Synagogue Wants Your Blood! This Sunday 10 AM to 2 PM

Blood Drive Drop.jpgIn conjunction with Sound Shore Medical Center the Sisterhood at Anshe Sholom Synagogue at 50 North Avenue will be holding a blood drive on Sunday, May 2, 2010 from 10 am to 2 pm. The event is part of the Sisterhood’s Annual Healthy Heart Family Day and Blood Drive.

  • Blood Pressure checks
  • Learn how to use an AED (automated external defribillator)
  • Educational material on cardiovascular risk factors
  • Heart-healthy snacks
  • CPR demonstration
  • Healthy-heart children’s activities and information
  • Blood donation drive

This event is open to the community and is for all ages.

When you make a blood donation, you join a very select group. Currently only 3 out of every 100 people in America donate blood.
