Goodreads was launched in December 2006 with its mission to get people excited about reading. Along the way, we plan to improve the process of reading and learning throughout the world.

Our hope is to get New Rochellians to share what books interest them and get ideas for books they might like to read. A book about Joe Two Trees, the last of his tribe and living in the Pelham Bay section of the Bronx. Sounds like it covers the late 1880s through the 1920s.
