New Rochelle Garbage Collection Moves to Summer Schedule

Written By: Robert Cox

Jeff Coleman of DPW made the following announcement over the weekend:

This is the Department of Public Works with an important reminder regarding garbage and recycling collection. Beginning on Tuesday, and extending through Labor Day, all garbage and recycling must be placed curbside by 6:00 a.m., an hour earlier than usual. Also, due to the Memorial Day Holiday, there will be no garbage collection on Monday, May 31st. For the remainder of the week, garbage and recycling will be collected on a holiday schedule. Please refer to your public works information brochure for additional information or call the information hotline at 235-3593. Thank for your cooperation.
