Enhanced Cable Programming Begins in September

City of New Rochelle Press Release:

Planning, Zoning and IDA Board Meetings Now Aired Live and Rebroadcast

New Rochelle, NY—Beginning this month, New Rochelle residents who subscribe to Cablevision
and Verizon services will be able to view Planning, Zoning and Industrial Development Agency
meetings live and on limited playback. This program was unanimously approved by the New
Rochelle City Council in June.

The September meeting schedule is as follows:
Zoning- Tuesday, September 7, 7:00 pm
Planning- September 28, 7:30 pm

Meetings will be broadcast live and played back as programming allows on Cablevision
Channel 75 and Verizon Channel 28. The complete schedule will be available on
line at www.newrochelleny.com/NRTVschedule and on the bulletin announcements.

City Council meetings will continue to be broadcast as usual and will take precedence over other
board meetings should a schedule conflict arise. City Council meetings only are also available live

DISCLAIMER: By unofficial policy directive, City Manager Charles Strome has let it be known that City workers are not to co-operate with Talk of the Sound on stories beyond what is absolutely, affirmatively required by law such as FOIL requests. The exception being the New Rochelle Police Department which has regularly responded in a courteous and respectful manner to requests for information from Talk of the Sound. Talk of the Sound makes a reasonable effort to get official, on-the-record comment from City officials but this is made all but impossible due to City policy.
