New Rochelle’s Residence Park Association Donates over 100 Backpacks to Children at Hope Community Services and Food Pantry

DSC_3547.jpgThe Residence Park Neighborhood and Civic Association of New Rochelle donated more that one hundred knapsack-bookbags, filled with pens, pencils, notebooks, rulers, and other school supplies; to the children whose parents are served by Hope Community Services and Food Pantry at 50 Washington Avenue in New Rochelle.

In addition to the school supplies, Residence Park residents donated money, which was used to “top up” the knapsacks. Additional funds will be used to buy winter coats for some of the most needy children.

COSTCO on Weyman Avenue donated more than 75 bookbags and supplies.
