Aman Ali, a reporter for the Journal News since 2007, is no longer with paper, Talk of the Sound confirmed today.
Ali came in for criticism from Talk of the Sound for his glaring failure to go beyond press releases and self-serving statements from city and school officials in New Rochelle.
There is no indication that Ali left for any other reason that his other interests have pulled him away from working for a daily newspaper. Ali is a stand-up comic and had a huge success with his 30 mosques in 30 days project. Ali has been traveling back and forth to Pakistan working on a documentary film.
GOOOOODDD Bye!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
south side man
Thank god he is gone , This guy couldnt realize a good story if it bit him in the ASSSSSS.
This paper has too make sure who ever they hire to replace him, actually cares about the reader’s.
Especially the ones who inform the paper about situations of wrong doings, With all the info to prove such, all handed to them on silver platter.
A real story of wrong doing did not get passed on to the readers. Why ? because of employees like him ,who are to busy trying to be Funny men and neglecting a seriuos job.. All at the expense of the readers and their best behalf.
OHH AND Shame on you Gannet paper , The info I am talking about ,I also EE mailed to your editor … ( after realizing your buddy dropped the ball ) but by that time i guess it was too late .
So when MORE people are VICTOM of Major company’s Tactics of abuse, unprofessional conduct towards them and there concern’s and questions. I guess WE, the people in the westchester area…. we will have to go else where to get help!
