County Legislator Jim Maisano is pleased to announce that his annual Toys for Tots drive to collect toys for kids in need will take place on Saturday, December 18, 2010, from Noon to 3 PM at Dudley’s Restaurant, 94 Hudson Park Road, New Rochelle, NY.
Legislator Maisano stated, “I proudly support this fantastic charity as a member of the Marine Corps League. The Toys for Tots program of the Marine Corps Reserve has distributed hundreds of millions of toys to needy children for more than 60 years. Please help us make sure that kids receive presents again this year – all of the gifts we collect will be delivered directly to children in our area. The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve has asked that we promote gifts for teenage children, which can include gift cards or monetary contributions. We ask that all gifts be new and unwrapped.”
If you cannot make it on December 18, please bring your unwrapped toy or gift to one of the drop box locations set up by Legislator Maisano:
