New Roc City’s line-up of fun-filled December family events were prominently displayed on its festive Thanksgiving Day holiday float.

Anticipating a busy holiday season, Santa Claus visits New Roc City on weekends in December for photographs with children who look forward to sharing their wish lists with Santa every year. Santa will visit New Roc City for the first three weekends of December on Saturdays from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. and Sundays 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Photographs with Santa make beautiful holiday keepsakes to share with family and friends.

New Roc City will be ringing in the New Year at noon on Friday, December 31 with renowned radio personality Jimmy Fink of 107.1 The Peak, who will serve as the event’s emcee. “Ring in the New Year at Noon” is geared toward children ages 2–10 and will be held from 10:30 a.m. from noon. Kids will experience an exciting Times Square simulated atmosphere with the New York City skyline as a backdrop. Complete with a countdown with Jimmy Fink and a balloon release, New Roc City will be the destination for young families to celebrate the entrance into 2011. In addition to traditional New Years activities, kids will enjoy face painting, arts and crafts, snacks, games and more. The event is being held in association with the New Rochelle Business Improvement District and their BID Family Day event series.

“We are excited to invite the community to enjoy the holiday season at New Roc City. We look forward to a tremendous turn out and to making “Ring in the New Year at Noon” an annual tradition for local families,” said Steve Semolik, Senior Real Estate Manager, CB Richard Ellis.

New Roc City is located at 33 LeCount Place in downtown New Rochelle. Among its attractions are an IMAX theater, video arcade, bowling alley, and restaurants. For more information go to www.newrochelledowntown.com.
