This is the City of New Rochelle. A winter storm warning is in effect from 7:00pm today to 6:00pm tomorrow. Public Works crews will begin treating roads this evening and will plow continuously throughout the night. Efforts will be initially concentrated on main roads and, therefore, some secondary roads may not be cleared until tomorrow morning. If you must travel, then please use appropriate caution and plan for delays during your morning commute.
This week’s paper recycling pick-up is cancelled. In addition, the Hugh Doyle Senior Center will be closed on Wednesday.
Please shovel out fire hydrants that abut your home or business and check in on neighbors with special needs. Residents may call 235-4029 to report problems related to snow removal operations. Finally, if you have a choice, please do not park your car on a public road. Thank you for your cooperation. Updates will be sent as necessary.
