The corruption that was rampant in county government during the Andy Spano reign has metastasized and is now rampant throughout the Court System, in particular the 9th JD under former Spano hack, Alan Scheinkman who is using his appointed position as Administrative Judge to create jobs within the court system for all those Spano hacks who had to leave when County Executive Rob Astorino was hired by the voters of this County. LOHUD just published a very fascinating piece showing how Susan Tolchin, former Spano mouthpiece was hired by Scheinkman after they met at a party. The interesting thing to note is that Tolchin was hired at a time when New York has major budget deficits to a position that was vacant since 2008, according to Scheinkman, if you believe him.
