Now that we can see what has been left behind as the snow melts, New Rochelle has turned into a trash heap in various places around the City. Christmas Tree pick up was set to begin on February 22nd but many areas report the trees are still there. Some neighborhoods still have leaves from the fall. Residents and shoppers on Sickles near North Avenue can walk from one end of the street to the other with their feet never touching the pavement. Cups, cans, boxes, paper and other garbage have turned into a sort of Papier-mâché melange.

This area was bad Sickles and North, the storm drains got clogged and the rain storm we had flooded the area, when the water went down it left a big mess, yeah there’s a lot of trash left on the streets, but it’s not as bad as your lead to believe. Remember most of the street cleaning has been suspended. And in most cases there’s still snow and ice at most curbs.

Considering that you have portrayed yourself as a store owner you seem to be remarkably well informed on the goings on within the DPW. And you always seem to be defending the DPW.

Wrong once more! I drove buy after sitting three times at that light I was wounding whats holding up the traffic at the light and as it turn out it was minor flooding and going back home i saw all the trash that was left over

I do stick up for DPW when credit is do, but no where did i mention DPW in the sickles and north trash story. I never denied owning a store as i do, as i do.

I answered providing NUMEROUS examples of your defending the DPW and pointed out that MANY of the articles you have commented on have something to do with the DPW.
I guess you were not expecting me to run a quick check on your comments and display them here so readers can see for themselves that not only am I correct but that you are seeking to lie about it. Whoops. You guessed wrong.
In either case, the issue here is the garbage that is strewn all over Sickles Avenue near North Avenue. You wrote “it’s not as bad as your lead to believe”.
The photos speak for themselves, there are literally thousands of pieces of trash on the street over there. I am not “leading” anyone to “believe” anything. I am providing photos and accurately describing the vast amount of trash on the street in that area.
The real question is why you would take such a simple, fact-based story so personally. I have offered an explanation. You work for the DPW, or based on your tone, your spouse or relative works for the DPW. In either case, looking at your comments you seem obsessed with defending the DPW at all costs.

Okay i give in! I do work for the city as a DPW worker, no wait parks and rec, no wait city hall is that what you want to hear? seem like that what you want, Then that would be a lie! I have no ties to the worker of NR only the ones that stop in to my shop!

Well i saw this morning (friday)that the street sweeper was out in the downtown around 5:00am.Thank god someone in city hall is using there head.
