Wildcliff is New Rochelle’s #1 Outdoor Entertainment Venue

Written By: Talk of the Sound News

Imagine lounging on a knoll with friends, open air, gazing out over Wildcliff’s spectacular vista of the Long Island Sound…around you actors breathe life into characters, musicians find their groove, and dancers reach for the stars. All in New Rochelle!

That’s right folks, whether you’re near or far, allow yourself time to visit our open air venue perched on New Rochelle’s waterfront. Somewhat similar to Caramoor and Tanglewood, we have a main stage for large scaled events and a chamber garden for acoustic rich performances. Additional amenities include our catered menu of grilled foods offered by Woody’s Grill, and there is plenty of on-site parking.

Our June performance schedule is deep into jazz featuring bass guitarist Steve Husted & The Low End Initiative Band 6/11 at 4PM. Performing with Steve are Lars Potteiger (Keys), David Englehard (Sax) and Joe Izzo (Drums).

On Father’s Day June 19 4PM, celebrate with your family while watching the award winning jazz pianist Helen Sung (Quartet).

Moving forward, we are in discussions with several musicians, such as Pamela Sklar, Chip Shelton, Sage, KJ Denhert and more. Creating an exciting line-up of jazz, classical and urban folk music for your entertainment.

Ticket info for all performances are shown on our website and sold through www.smarttix.com. You may also call them at 212-868-4444. Check out our special family rate of $45 (2 adults/2 kids) only when purchased online.

For all of our arts & crafts guests, on days of our main stage concerts, we will have an open air market of local and regional artist & craftsman works. Interested in participating, here is a chance to have your own gallery for a day!

Lastly, Incoming Tide wouldn’t be Incoming Tide without showcasing other types of entertainment. So here is a peek behind the curtain…. in development for the stage are themed events such as Half Day Fridays, Sunday Sounds & Brunch, and Classical Wednesdays.

As always, thanks for reading our Blog, and thanks for your continued support in ‘The Year of the BHAG.’ Eric
