The City of New Rochelle has published another colorful brochure from Noam trying to save his faltering political career a plan for creating an updated version of the City’s Comprehensive Plan. The Plan was last updated in 1995.
The plan to create the Plan entails a period for Data Collection and Review through until September. “Vision” will occur from October to December then “Develop” will occur from January until March 2012. The plan will draft and deliver a plan between April and September 2012 with implementation to begin in October 2012 by which time Noam is hoping to be in the closing weeks of his campaign to replace Nita Lowey in Congress. New Rochelle residents who do not actively support Noam or fail to donate to Noam’s campaign will, as usual, be excluded from the process until the very end at which point Noam will seek to lure a few ostensible political opponents to his side, get them to sign off on his handiwork and help him create the fig leaf of bipartisan support for Noam’s plan which is, for the most part, already written.
In 2017, there is supposed to be a five year review and update which will likely not happen because by then Noam will either be in Congress or no longer in elective office and such effort will no longer serve any purpose for Noam.
Where is transparency in government?
Why is this plan being considered now? What is this “Comprehensive Plan” from l995. Did it have a different title? Can someone clarify? Is this just another way to try to fool the voters into thinking something important is transpiring?
