The Second Annual New Rochelle Jazz Festival kicked off this weekend and will finish up this afternoon starting at 1 p.m. and going until 9:30 p.m. Groups are also playing at downtown locations including Backstreet Gallery, Alvin & Friends, McKiernan’s, Brickyard Bistro and Beanberry’s.
New Rochelle’s Brian Carter, Bob Baldwin and many others performed on Saturday.
Sunday features Grammy nominated guitarist Gil Paris, Avalanche, and Second Wind.
The event was put together by Brian Carter and host of others including the Sister City Committee, the New Rochelle BID, the New Rochelle Council on the Arts, and the City of New Rochelle Parks & Recreation Department.
Event Sponsors include Westchester Rocks Music School Camp, RSounds, Backstreet Gallery and Framing, Aquarian Drumheads, Bose, and GMS Drum Company.
