sends along a heads up for New Rochelle: former New Rochelle Development official Ed Lynch has resigned his position as Director of Planning and Development for the City of Newburgh, NY in Orange County. Lynch had followed former New Rochelle Corporation Counsel Bernis Nelson to Newburgh. Bernis Shapiro/Nelson left New Rochelle following a dispute with City Manager Charles B. Strome, III. Shapiro/Nelson abruptly resigned and then reappeared in Newburgh before moving on to a new job in Peekskill, NY.
