As always, lots of stuff going on to kick off September in New Rochelle –

First up, the Beach Bar at Hudson Park is still kickin’ in the wake of Hurricane Irene and they’re celebrating with the musical styling of the A2Z Band tonight at 9 pm.

Then, Tuesday September 6th – the New Rochelle Board of Education will be meeting at the Linda Kelly Theater starting at 7 PM.

Then, a huge day next Thursday with a bunch of interesting stuff:

First, the New Rochelle Public Library’s Board of Trustees will meet.

Then. From the Earth, Natural Elements and Imagery— some of the most prolific artists from the New York region join together with transFORM Gallery to present an art showcase celebrating Earth, combining vivid imagery and striking forms in both sculpture and wall art.

Then, “Toward a Philosophy of Understanding” opens at the College of New Rochelle’s Castle Gallery.

And finally, in what will be a continuing event at the Willow Towers Assisted Living Center – a Caregiver Support Group working with the Alzheimer’s Association will meet at 6 PM – this is the first of the monthly meeting that continue into December.

As always, these events were taken from the Talk of the Sound Community Calendar. If you want your events publicized on the web-site, you can contact Matthew Pryce at Calendar@newrochelletalk.com and I can set you up with an admin account that allows you to post your bulletins directly to the site to be seen by the thousands of viewers who stop by daily – and I always pick the most interesting ones to be read live on Talk of the Sound Radio
