First up, College of New Rochelle is hosting LunaFest — in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness and Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Nine short films, diverse in style and content, and done by, for, and about women, will be shown over the course of today and tomorrow.

Next, the League of Women Voters presents Coffee and Conversation with Larry Gottlieb. That taking place 9:30 AM tomorrow down at the New Rochelle Public Library.

Saturday at 10, join neighbors and friends as they paint store windows with scary Halloween ghosts and goblins and Happy Thanksgiving greetings. Everybody is meeting at the library and then will fan out over the city with paints and brushes in tow.

Award winning author Grace Edwards will be doing a live read of some of her work live at The Poet’s Corner, this Saturday at 2 PM

Keep it downtown on Saturday as Will Vallar and the Minus 3 will take to the Beanberry Cafe Stage to perform some of their original music starting at 7 pm.

And finally, back to the Poet’s Corner on Sunday for A Leap of Faith. Stephanie Clape’s play focuses on “life, death and second chances.” Curtain at 4.
