New Rochelle Police cordoned off an area around The Planned Parenthood offices in downtown New Rochelle after reports of a suspicious package. Streets on Main Street and North Avenue were closed by police.
Report was made to police around 5:00 PM.
Westchester County Bomb Squad on scene.
6:20 PM NRPD all units back in service. Package was an empty suitcase.

This place has open access on both sides from north ave and lecount place the parking lot gate never works and the gate on north ave is never locked.
At nite the parking lot lights are never on and the place is dark.
People cut through the lot all the time and park there without ever being stopped.
