Talk of the Sound was on the scene as a car on Webster Avenue burst into flames this afternoon around 3:22 PM. Within 10 minutes the New Rochelle Fire Department was on the scene and had put out the fire. No injuries were reported.
By 3:45 PM, traffic was open in the southbound lane of Webster Avenue.
Safeway Towing was dispatched. Traffic will re-open once the car is removed.
