Sometime between 3:00 and 3:30 this afternoon, a boy who seemed to of be high school age was being beaten by a crowd of same age kids in the vicinity of Fern St and Rotunno Pl. Over a dozen kids were observed kicking the boy as he tried to cover himself on the ground . Witnesses say the victim was bloodied around the head and neck. The police were called and the kids scattered as they saw bystanders reaching for their cell phones. Sirens were heard shortly after the calls were made. Does anyone know the condition of the boy? Anyone taken into custody?
