Nicandro Masseregli Named Civilian Employee of the Year by New Rochelle Police Department

NicandroMassaregliNicandro Massaregli was appointed to the Department in May 2006, and since then has been assigned to the Staff Services Division’s Technical Services Unit as the organization’s Chief Information Systems Engineer. In this position, he is responsible for the acquisition, implementation, and maintenance of all the advanced technology within the Department. Over the past year he has performed effectively and imaginatively in bringing major projects from the conceptual stage to deployment. Crime mapping, fixed license plate readers and many endeavors involving security video are just some examples of the technological progress made under his leadership. The implementation of technology is accompanied by training needs, and Nicandro has been invaluable in this area by conducting a variety of training sessions for the Department. For his initiative, innovation, and tireless work ethic as it relates to providing the members of the Department with the best technological services, Nicandro Massaregli is designated the Civilian Employee of the Year for 2011

Each year, as part of National Police Week each May, the City of New Rochelle acknowledges outstanding police officers and units. The 2012 New Rochelle Police Department Awards Ceremony was held at the Greentree County Club on May 16th.
