Police Officer Kimberly Boneski Honored by New Rochelle Police Department for Meticulous and Attentive Police Work

KimerlyBoneskiPolice Officer Kimberly Boneski was appointed to the Department in August 2008, and is currently assigned to the Police Services Division’s Third Tour. She is the recipient of one Commendation Award. On September 4th , Officer Boneski was detailed to investigate a hit and run auto accident. The fleeing motorist was located and returned to the scene. While continuing the investigation, Officer Boneski became suspicious of the motorist and was able to determine that he was in possession of stolen property. Officer Boneski’s meticulous and attentive performance during an otherwise routine investigation led to the motorist being charged with criminal possession of stolen property, leaving the scene of an accident and the clearing of a bench warrant. In recognition of her exemplary work, Police Officer Kimberly Boneski was designated Officer of the Month for September 2011.

Each year, as part of National Police Week each May, the City of New Rochelle acknowledges outstanding police officers and units. The 2012 New Rochelle Police Department Awards Ceremony was held at the Greentree County Club on May 16th.
