Police Officer Vincent Pisano Honored by New Rochelle Police Department for Work on Operation City Sweeper

VincentPisanoPolice Officer Vincent Pisano was appointed to the Department in January 2006, having served as a member of the NYPD since 2001, and is currently assigned to the Special Investigations Unit. He is the recipient of three Class C Citations and four Commendation Awards. Additionally, Officer Pisano is certified as a Field Training Officer. During the month of December, he closed out a number of cases that were originated earlier in the year during a large scale narcotics enforcement initiative named “Operation City Sweeper.” In addition to twenty cases he initiated during this operation, Officer Pisano was praised by his supervisor for his professionalism and assistance to other team members in bringing this initiative to a successful conclusion. In recognition of his exemplary work, Police Officer Vincent Pisano was designated Officer of the Month for December 2011.

Each year, as part of National Police Week each May, the City of New Rochelle acknowledges outstanding police officers and units. The 2012 New Rochelle Police Department Awards Ceremony was held at the Greentree County Club on May 16th.
