Police Officer Kenneth Hudson Honored by New Rochelle Police Department for Hazardous Traffic Infractions

KennethHudsonPolice Officer Kenneth Hudson was appointed to the Department in August 1999, and is currently assigned to the Police Services Division’s Traffic Unit. He is the recipient of the Police Commissioner’s Award, one Class C Citation, one Commendation Award, a Three-Year Perfect Attendance Award and the Life Saver of the Year Award in 2001. Officer Hudson is described by his supervisors as being a conscientious, hardworking officer. He consistently displays excellent skills, attitude, appearance and performance during the completion of his duties. In November, he issued 54 moving violation summonses related directly to hazardous traffic infractions. He is particularly perceptive to motorists who pass stopped school buses. During 2011 he issued 65 traffic summonses for this particularly dangerous violation. For his performance, Police Officer Kenneth Hudson was designated Officer of the Month for November 2011.

Each year, as part of National Police Week each May, the City of New Rochelle acknowledges outstanding police officers and units. The 2012 New Rochelle Police Department Awards Ceremony was held at the Greentree County Club on May 16th.
