Public Input Welcomed for New Rochelle Citizens’ Sustainable Budget Panel

Written By: Talk of the Sound News

In January, the City of New Rochelle appointed a Citizens’ Panel on Sustainable Budgets, with the goal of finding creative new ways to save tax dollars, deliver efficient services, and tap alternative sources of revenue. The Panel has been meeting regularly since then to gain an in-depth understanding of City government and is expected to make recommendations later this summer.

To help ensure that every good idea is considered, the Panel invites suggestions from the general public.

A fillable form has been created on the City website. Written suggestions can also be submitted to the City Clerk’s office, 515 North Avenue, New Rochelle, NY 10801.
