Transit Center Entrance Closes For 1 Month Starting This Weekend

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Due to the ongoing North Avenue Construction Project, motor vehicle traffic will be prohibited from entering the Transit Center Garage and Train Station from North Avenue beginning Monday, September 10, 2012. It is anticipated that this access prohibition will last for 1 month.

The following detour routes will be in effect:
· Patrons traveling from the south should use Memorial Highway and then take Division Street to Station Plaza North;
· Patrons traveling from the north should use Lockwood Avenue or Lincoln Avenue to Memorial Highway then take Division Street to Station Plaza North.

Drawings showing the detour routes to the Transit Center Garage and Train Station will be available on the City website www.newrochelleny.com/northaveconstruction

Detour signs will be posted along the detour routes.

    Basically they are now ready to start to couple Utility services that have been added to the bridge over I95. They already have the street open as metal plates are covering the opening. The Utility wiring ect is already in place right? Now I know this is a State of NY project but one month to move across 2 lanes of traffic. Who is doing the work Michael Angelo?
