New Rochelle arts center, aka PAC House Theater, turns on the heat with a fall event schedule that would make a cultural tourist hungry. For those who haven’t located the PAC House on their GPS, please plug in 311 Huguenot St. and reference the Parish Hall Performing & Visual Arts Center, next door to Trinity St. Paul church.

This season started off with a concert from jazz trumpeter Douglas Detrick’s AnyWhen Ensemble Band. It was a continuous 75-minute set of complex harmonies, a rare original composition, that kept the audience on edge.

The next attraction in autumn arrives October 19th with the New Jazz Workshop, a NYC quintet co-founded by bassist Dezron Douglas and sax man Lummie Spann Jr.—a surely not-to-miss musical performance from today’s jazz musicians which are fueling the genre back to its proper heights.

Did you know the PAC House Theater contains the PAC House gallery? It’s New Rochelle’s newest art gallery covering the stage and hall floor. And opening on October 19th is artwork from our local restaurateur, Alvin Clayton, of Alvin & Friends. Join us October 19th through October 20th for a colorful exhibition by our local artist.

Stay tuned for November events as PAC House artistic director Eric Woodlin curates a season full of culture. All questions and comments regarding exhibitions, concerts and theater projects, please leave voice mail at 914-632-5368 or visit us at www.incomingtideentertainment.com.
