NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The College of New Rochelle’s (CNR) Castle Gallery will present Terra Incognita, the work of nine artists who are interested in the connection between physical and psychological spaces; many through spacescapes, cityscapes, landscapes, and bodyscapes.

Featured artists: Will Corwin,Susan D’Amato, Seth Fairweather, Gwen Hardie, Travis Head, Caitlin Masley, Laura Moriarty, Gina Occhiogrosso and Benedict Oddi.

Terra Incognita is organized by Katrina Rhein, Director of Castle Gallery. According to Director Rhein in the exhibit, “Form and scale are cleverly manipulated to suggest connections between macro and micro, the individual and the collective, the specific and the universal. The work encourages us to consider our own limitations as individual and the possibility of transcendence through discovery, contemplation, and interconnection.”

The exhibition is on display from Tuesday, January 29 to Sunday, March 31, 2013. A reception will be held on Sunday, February 3, 2013 from 2 to 4 p.m.
