  1. New Rochelle Rising, Taxes that is.
The only thing rising out of the New Rochelle Muck under Mayor Bramson’s administration is your tax bill and the extras they add to your tax bill.
The Mayor has left New Rochelle in a shambles.
New Roc is rotting into the ground one Bramson idea after the next.
LeCount Place a Cappelli tax abatement that never materialized fortunately but blighted the area even worse than before.
Echo Bay a pipe dream that can not keep Bramson above the PCB laden muck. Years to maneuver the project and he comes up with a salad store and veggie restaurant scenario as an anchor.
Avalon’s eating into the New Rochelle School districts budget with an average cost per student 21K and 100’s more than the impact study revealed. Yet my neighbors up North can’t help but give him a pass.
He will stand up at the podium and blame it all on a fiscal crisis, a failed economy that he did not cause. He will speak eloquently with a eagerness to climb and help carry New Rochelle up from the trench he himself help to dig. He will blame it on NY State, Pensions, Cost of Living, declining real estate values.
New Rochelle has reaped what he has presided over.

  2. The State of the City Address
“The State of the City is Strong. So strong that I am looking to become County Exec and forget all about it! There are campaign donation boxes by the door on your way out. See you next year at the Echo Bay Mud Boat Races”

Given that this is the same canned speech regurgitated every year (just the names and places get changed around) I believe my post just saved you $35 bucks. So please spend that money in New Ro at one of the 400 delis or nail salons in town spurring our economic growth.

As Seinfeld famously said to George Costanza
“And you want to be my latex salesman, I mean County Executive, I don’t think so.”
