WHAT: The Iona College Board of Trustees will host its 51st Annual Trustee Award Dinner to honor leaders who exemplify the College’s mission of service, scholarship and value-based learning. Twelve bagpipers, including six Iona College bagpipers and six NYPD bagpipers, will play, leading the Presidential Procession into the grand ballroom at the Waldorf Astoria hotel. Highlights include video messages from New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg; Speaker of the New York City Council Christine C. Quinn, Former NYC Police Commissioner Robert J. McGuire ’58, ’78H; and Former Con Edison CEO Eugene R. McGrath ’80MBA.
