New Rochelle’s United Veterans Memorial and Patriotic Association ( UVMPA ) are proudly sponsoring the “We Remember” Memorial Day Parade and Picnic in Hudson Park, where festivities kick off at 10;30am  on May 26th 2014 at Memorial Plaza and Main Street. A brief Ceremony and Memorial Day service mark the beginning of a spectacular day showing our gratitude and support of all our veterans past and present.  Memorial Day is the day in which those who lost their lives while serving in the United States Armed forces are remembered. Our freedom is not free. Peter Parente, President of the UVMPA along with the City of New Rochelle and countless others all put their hearts, souls and patriotism together into organizing this incredible event so please come out and show your pride for our troops.
