NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The classic Disney family adventure, Napoleon and Samantha, starring Michael Douglas, Jodie Foster, Johnny Whitaker, and Will Geer, will be the next movie in the New Rochelle Public Library’s 2014 Disney Summer Hit Parade series. The free movie, appropriate for all ages, will entertain all ages, and will be shown on the big screen of the library’s Ossie Davis Theater on Monday, July 28th at 6:00 pm.
In this 92 minute film, two young children suddenly find themselves in charge of a gentle, aging circus lion. However, when they are threatened with being split up by stern authorities, the trio embarks on a perilous journey across the wilds of the American Northwest.
The Disney Hit Parade series will continue on Monday, August 4th with the 1976 film, Gus.
