NEW ROCHELLE, NY — With a big match-up against St. Raymond’s last Saturday at 7:15 p.m., the hardwood Gaels look to continue its run to a ring. If this summer’s Basketball Coaches Association of New York Summer Hoops Festival was any indication, the Prep has the senior leadership for a deep postseason run.
Both guard Tom Capuano ’15 and shooting forward Matt Ryan ’15 suited up for the Hudson Valley, which won its second gold in three years. Capuano, in particular, was a driving force in the title game and Hudson Valley finished a perfect 5-0 in the tournament.
Together with point guard Ty Jerome ’16, the Gaels have set the bar high for this season.
