Kenneth Tenore, Lifetime New Rochelle Resident, Dies Unexpectedly

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Kenneth Tenore, a lifelong resident of New Rochelle, died suddenly on January 3, 2015. He was 61.

Ken was born in New Rochelle on April 24, 1953 to August and Marie (DeMelia) Tenore.

He graduated from Fairfield University and attended Medical School in Italy before becoming a Meteorologist. He worked as a Meteorologist at several metropolitan airports for many years before retiring; after which he went on to work with his good friend’s, the DeNardo family, at Palmer Point Marina in Greenwich, CT.
In addition to his parents, Marie and Augie, he is survived by his brother Stephen P. Tenore and his nephew Bobby Smillie. He was predeceased by his sister Karen Smillie.

Visiting hours will be at his brother’s funeral home: Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel Inc. 16 Shea Pl. Monday and Tuesday 4-8pm. A funeral mass is scheduled for Wednesday 10:30am at Blessed Sacrament Church. Interment will follow at Beechwoods Cemetery.
