New Rochelle Restaurant Gets a Sparkling Review in the New York Times

Steve Reddicliffe, Larchmont resident and Deputy Editor of The New York Times Travel Section, thoroughly enjoyed a night out at A Place 2 Go, in New Rochelle.

The pork and the punch are the work of the chef, Edwin Crisp, who owns the restaurant with his wife, Chyrisse Crisp, its manager. Mr. Crisp, who grew up in Jamaica, said on the phone after our visits that his goal was “putting out true Caribbean food without holding back.”

“I didn’t want to do a crossover,” he continued. “I wanted you to get the feeling of what we eat, how we eat and how it’s done.”
