NEW ROCHELLE, NY — RadioShack filed for bankruptcy on Thursday. The company plans to close many hundreds of stores and co-brand others with Sprint.
The New Rochelle location on Palmer Avenue is not among them, based on a review of documents by Talk of the Sound.
In documents filed in federal bankruptcy court, RadioShack provided a list of stores it will close.
1.784 stores are to be closed by March 31st, 162 stores by February 17th, 986 stores by February 28th and 636 stores by March 31.
Four RadioShack stores in our area will close:
- Galleria of White Plains at 100 Main Street in White Plains, NY
- Westchester Square at 247 North Central Avenue in Hartsdale, NY.
- Westchester Plaza at 45 East Prospect Mount Vernon, NY.
- Cross County Shop Center at 1Bb Xavier Drive on Yonkers, NY
