NEW ROCHELLE, NY — ALMS Student Jake Gallin was named New York State middle school recipient of the the Prudential Spirit of Community Award. The Prudential awards program is part of the largest youth recognition program based solely on volunteer service.
Two student medalists have been named in each state — one in high school and one in middle school — by Prudential Financial and the National Association of Secondary School Principals.
Gallin has been invited to go to Washington, D.C. in May, where he will be honored and then have a chance to be named a top volunteer in the United States.
