In game two, Hofstra recorded 11 hits and connected on four home runs, including three during an 11-run second inning. The Pride pushed five more across in the third, capped by a homer by Megan Patierno.

Iona cracked the scoreboard for the first time in the top of the fifth inning, when Hand connected on her third home run of the season.

Taylor Pirone (7-6) was credited with the victory for Hofstra, striking out seven batters in 4.0 innings of work. Junior Jordan Courage (1-7) suffered the loss for the Gaels.
