NEW ROCHELLE, NY — New Rochelle magician David Rosenstein in partnership with the New Rochelle Fund for Educational Excellence will present “An Evening of Magic” at Albert Leonard Middle School in New Rochelle, NY on Saturday night, May 9th at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10.00 with proceeds going to support the NR Fund.
Rosenstein, a junior at New Rochelle High School, had brought together, for one night only, a collection of top teen magicians, all participants in the prestigious Tannen’s Magic Camp. Tannen’s is a world-renowned magic shop in New York City that has been a mecca for professional and amateur magicians since 1925.
Rosenstein is a member of the Society of Young Magicians Assembly and past President.
These award-winning illusionists will take the stage to perform unbelievable feats; intermission will consist of closeup magicians coming into the audience and performing right before them.
Rosenstein will be performing in addition to serving as the evening’s Host and Master of Ceremonies. Featured performers include Alexander Boyce, Adam Krevlin, and Ben Zabin, all of whom competed and took home first place trophies in their respective categories at Tannen’s. Close-up magicians performing at intermission include David Calamari, and Robert Dorfman.

Kids of all ages are promised a spectacular time while benefiting this incredible organization at a night of magic they will never forget.
“I’ve benefited so much from various programs provided by the NR Fund through all my years in the New Rochelle public school system, and I saw this as a perfect opportunity to give back and raise money for the organization,” said Rosenstein.

David Rosenstein, 16, is a magician with over 10 years of professional experience. At age 3, David saw a magician at a birthday party and from that day on his life was forever changed; he was never seen without wearing a top hat and carrying a magic wand. His hobby quickly became a profession by age 7 when he was hired to perform at a birthday party of a fellow second grader.
