WHITE PLAINS, NY –The Westchester County Department of Public Works and Transportation (WCDPW&T) will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, July 29, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., prior to setting the Student MetroCard farefor the 2015-2016 school year. The public hearing will be held at the Westchester County Centerin White Plains.
The WCDPW&T office, at 100 East First St., Mount Vernon, will accept written comments through July 31.
Since April 1, 2007, Westchester County’s Bee-Line Bus System has been a member of the regional transit fare collection system, accepting MetroCard pay-per-ride and unlimited ride fares and allowing free transfers for all rides within the Bee-Line System and between the Bee-Line System and New York City buses and subways.
