NEW ROCHELLE, NY –The New Rochelle Art Association (NRAA) is celebrating the 100th Annual Open Juried Art Show, which runs from September 19 to October 25, 2015. The opening reception will be held September 27, 2015, from 5:15-6:30 pm at the New Rochelle Public Library, to coincide with Arts Fest. The organization, one of the oldest in the country, holds its annual show highlighting the best artwork from its members as well as outside artists.
Although the show is 100 years old, the organization itself continues to move forward. “This is the first year we are accepting artist submissions via an online prospectus,” states newly elected art association president B.A. D’Alessandro. Any interested artists can go to nraaonline.org to download the prospectus. The deadline for submission is September 4, 2015 and there is over $2500 awarded in cash and prizes.
