NEW ROCHELLE, NY –Despite what the mercury in the thermometer reads, fall is quickly approaching and that was evident in New Rochelle’s City Park, as the 2015 Monroe College football team opened its pre-season practices earlier this week. The team comes off a 2014 season that saw the Mustangs earn four wins including a pair of conference victories.
The team welcomes in a talented, deep pool of transfers, including several Division I players. Combined with last year’s returners and bolstered by a strong coaching staff, the Mustangs are well on their way to forming a cohesive unit on the field.
The team opens the 2015 campaign on Saturday, September 5 against Valley Forge Military Academy at 5:30 PM from City Park in New Rochelle.
