NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A New Rochelle man was severely injured after he was struck by an SUV in front of 127 Cooper Drive. The driver remained on the scene. The collision is under investigation.
The man was initially taken to Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital then transferred to Westchester Medical Center.
The injured man, 20, is reportedly autistic, according to New Rochelle police.
The incident occurred before 11:00 a.m.
