NEW ROCHELLE, NY — To safely accommodate staff and students of Daniel Webster Elementary School, which has temporarily relocated to Holy Family School until the end of the year, the City has authorized the following changes to parking in that area:
•Mayflower Avenue between Clove Road and Webster Avenue will be designated for staff parking only on weekdays between 7 AM to 4 PM
•Clove Road and Mount Joy from Mayflower to the end of the school property will be used for pickup and drop off zones 8-9 AM and 2:30-3:30 PM
•Mayflower Avenue in front of the church will be used for school bus drop off and pickup only. Parking on the opposite side of the street will be prohibited during drop off and pickup times, 8:00 to 9:00 AM and 2:30 to 3:30 PM.
Traffic in these areas will increase during morning drop off and afternoon pickup. Police will be stationed on Mayflower, Clove and Mount Joy during these times to assist with traffic flow.
“These temporary changes will provide some parking for Webster School and the least possible impact on the surrounding neighborhood,” said City Manager Charles B. Strome, III. “We appreciate the patience and support of all involved as we work this through in the coming weeks.”
