NEW YORK, NY — Connie DeMarco, a resident of Jefferson Village in Yorktown Heights, NY, passed away on August 22, 2015 from complications of pneumonia. She was born in New Rochelle on December 15, 1925 to Dominick and Annunziata Calandruccio. She was a graduate of the Packard Business School whereupon she worked at Chemical Bank. Later in life, she returned to the workforce becoming an award-winning saleswoman with World Book Encyclopedia and later Marjorie Wohl Real Estate in New Rochelle. Her proudest achievement was the family she loved and supported throughout her life. She survived her loving husband, George DeMarco of 60 Years who passed away in 2008 and was the beloved mother of Rosemarie Bahr (Joseph), Nancy Mulkerin (William), George (Andy) and Gerard DeMarco (Anne Marie). She is survived by nine loving grandchildren, Joe (Stacey), Benjamin (Alina), Jeffrey (Corinn), David (Jaime), Rachel, Stephen, Rebecca, Christopher, and Julie and two great grandchildren, Abigail and Evelyn. . Family will receive friends on Monday from 4-8 at the Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home in Mahopac. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, August 25 at 11:15 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Shrub Oak. Burial will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne. In Lieu of Flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
